MEET
Dr. Ali Hamtaee
Dr. Ali Hamtaee, a long-time resident of Polk County, grew up in Winter Haven and attended local schools before earning honors at Lake Region High School. He later became Student Body President at Polk Community College, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, and earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Bachelor’s in Human Anatomy from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
His journey into chiropractic care began after suffering a severe back injury during college that was successfully treated through chiropractic adjustments. Influenced by his family’s focus on natural health and prevention, Dr. Hamtaee developed a passion for helping others achieve wellness naturally.
Meet Our Team
Angela Hamtaee LPN
Angela Hamtaee is a dedicated healthcare professional and mother of four, born and raised in Winter Haven, Florida. From an early age, she developed a strong passion for athletics, spending much of her life playing soccer and competing in cross country, experiences that helped shape her discipline and drive.
Angela began her career as a nurse at Bond Clinic, where she gained valuable experience caring for others and making a meaningful impact in her community. She later made the decision to leave her nursing role to open Spine Correction alongside her husband, Dr. Ali Hamtaee. As the practice expanded, Angela played a key role in building a team rooted in excellence, fostering a close-knit, family-oriented environment that reflects her values.
At home, Angela is a devoted mother to four boys, two of whom she homeschools, keeping her life both full and rewarding. As a family, they share a love for water skiing, often spending their free time on the water and even competing together.
Throughout her journey, Angela has had the privilege of working alongside many inspiring and influential individuals, further shaping her perspective and passion for both her professional and personal life.
Scott Bourgeois, Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Scott Bourgeois, Chiropractic Physician, during his college baseball days at Warner University in Lake Wales , Fl was injured, which exposed him to the benefits of chiropractic care first hand. He later completed an internship with a local chiropractor and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science and Biology in 1996. The valuable knowledge he gained during this internship led Dr. Bourgeois to attend Life University in Marietta, GA, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2001.
Jennifer Polk Kenemuth, Office Manager
Jen was brought up in a family that instilled a strong foundation of chiropractic care. Her father, Dr. David Kenemuth, DC, employed her in his practice until his retirement. She is a lifelong resident of Polk County.
Jennifer began her career with Dr. Hamtaee of NEU Wellness in 2016. A few years later, in 2019, she received her certification as a Licensed Certified Chiropractic Physician’s Assistant. She enjoys working with people and gardening, as well as volunteering time to work with individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities.
Breanna Pierre-Francois, Front Desk Concierge
Breanna Pierre-Francois, grew up in Ft. Lauderdale with her two younger brothers and both parents. Born of Haitian descent, Breanna learned how to read, write and speak Creole on her own. In 2016, she moved to Polk County with her family.
Breanna is a graduate from Haines City High School in 2008. After working 7 years at McDonald’s as a crew trainer, she decided to go back to school where she graduated from a technical college and earned her degree as a Medical Assistant. A few years later in 2026, she received her certification as a Licensed Certified Chiropractic Physician’s Assistant. Breanna is caring, hard working, friendly and dedicated to helping others.
Arissa Hill - Director of Marketing
Arrissa is from Texas and grew up with strong Texas values and ethics. Trust God, work hard, and help others! A Native American and a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe. Arissa is a mother to an amazing son and fiancée to my high school sweetheart, a fellow Texan:) She moved to Florida after graduating from college in 2004.
Arissa studied at Texas A&M University with a degree in Communication, with a minor in sociology. Gigem Aggies!
Former employee at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as a brand ambassador and hospitality. Arissa brings her marketing experience to attract new business and support existing business relationships. With 16 years of experience in marketing, she has enjoyed building relationships and friendships with people. Her passion is in creating connections and long term relationships. Adding that love for community, she is the opener to see how people get healthier and better at Neu Wellness.
Arissa loves spending her time in native beadworking, working out, spending time with my family, watching my son play sports, our 2 rescue pups, and the beach, of course.
Carmen Garcia - Bilingual Chiropractic Assistant
Carmen García is a dedicated, compassionate, and highly service-oriented professional with extensive experience across multiple companies in the service sector, with a focus on human resources. She is known for her attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and ability to maintain well-structured administrative systems. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a leading university in Colombia, with a focus on organizational development. Her career path has been driven by a passion for understanding human behavior and supporting organizations in creating healthier, more efficient environments for both employees and clients. She brings a strong foundation in administrative processes and patient-centered support, contributing to the overall efficiency and organization of the practice.
She resides in Polk County and enjoys spending quality time with her family, reflecting her commitment to a healthy work-life balance. Dedicated to continuous growth and excellence, she strives to support her team and contribute to a seamless, well-coordinated experience for everyone who walks through the clinic’s doors.
Desiree Guzman - Bilingual Office Coordinator
Desiree Guzman brings decades of experience, dedication, and heart to everything she does. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Puerto Rico, she earned her Associate’s degree in Computer Technology, building a strong foundation that supported her long and successful career.
With over 34 years of experience in the food wholesaler industry, Desiree worked her way up to a Regional Supervisor role, beginning her journey in New Jersey and later continuing her leadership in Homestead, Florida. Throughout her career, she became known not only for her strong work ethic and expertise but also for her ability to lead with kindness and integrity.
In 2019, Desiree transitioned into semi-retirement in Sebring, Florida. Today, she brings her warmth and dedication to her role at a chiropractic office coordinator, where she enjoys supporting patients and contributing to a positive, welcoming environment.
Desiree is known for her selfless nature, warm spirit, and genuine desire to help others. She approaches every opportunity with compassion, positivity, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
Micheli Lopez- Bilingual CCPA
Micheli Lopez- Bilingual CCPA, Micheli Lopez was born and raised in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. After graduating from high school in 1999, she pursued her passion for helping others by studying Physical Therapy. In 2002, she earned her Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puerto Rico, Ponce Campus, and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Puerto Rico. In 2006, at the age of 25, Micheli relocated to Highlands County in Sebring, Florida, where she built a life with her husband and their two sons, her greatest blessings.
Her professional journey continued in 2008 when she joined the Rehabilitation Department at Florida Hospital in Sebring as a rehab aide. Over the next five years, Micheli gained valuable experience in both inpatient and outpatient care, supporting individuals through recovery from illness and surgery. During this time, she developed a deep passion for helping patients regain their strength, independence, and overall well-being.
In 2024, Micheli received her certification as a Licensed Certified Chiropractic Physician Assistant (CCPA). Through chiropractic care and hands-on treatment support, she continues to play an important role in helping patients heal and reach their full potential. Micheli is known for her compassion and dedication. She strives to ensure every patient feels safe, supported, and encouraged throughout their journey.
