SPINAL ADJUSTMENT

A chiropractic adjustment or manipulation is a manual procedure, utilizing the hands of a trained chiropractor or small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. Manipulation of your body’s joints, particularly the spine, helps restore or enhance joint function.

This often helps resolve joint inflammation and reduces the patient’s pain. Chiropractic manipulation is a highly controlled procedure that rarely causes discomfort and our chiropractors adapt the procedure to meet the specific needs of each patient. Patients often note positive changes in their symptoms immediately following treatment. In fact, chiropractic care is one of the safest forms of treatment that exist today.

Dr. Ali Hamtaee and Dr. Scott Burgerouis are your chiropractic physicians at Neu Wellness they are highly trained and have many post graduate hours and over 20+years of experience.

As a team they continually seek out credentials and techniques to bring the best of the best, making Neu Wellness a cutting-edge facility to seek out treatment.

Once all the information and examinations have been performed, one of our chiropractors will give you a report of findings to answer the three most popular questions:

At a first chiropractor visit, expect a thorough health history consultation, full functional physical exam (posture, range of motion, reflexes), and often a, Chiropractic adjustment - sometimes, if necessary, we will need to do x-rays to see how your alignment is, as well as your health history to see how to give personalized treatment.

There is no downtime with this procedure. You can get back to your daily routine right after the treatment.
When you come into our office for healthcare services, we will sit down with you and discuss your unique needs. By getting to know you and any conditions you suffer from or chronic pains that bother you, we can create a comprehensive plan for treatment. Here at Nue Wellnes Center in Dundee and Sebring, we are more concerned with the root of the condition or problem than the symptoms.

If you explain that you are having certain symptoms, we will simply use this information to help determine what is causing them.

Many doctors will simply hand you a pill that will mask your symptoms, while we are interested in a drug-free cure for your condition.

Next you will have a consultation doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed for our team at Neu Wellness Center to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic can help you meet your goals.

After your consultation, Dr. Hamtaee or Dr. Bourgeois  will perform a thorough chiropractic examination testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

Your specific condition may require us to request X-rays to get a full evaluation of the patient. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.

Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

After a consultation and a full functional exam, we then have a return of findings to report back your customized treatment plan. Depending on the doctor's assessment, then your regular care begins.
